Congratulations to Khurram Kabiruddin, Anna Martinez, and Sara Saastamoinen for being recognized as outstanding, incredible and amazing leaders!
Khurram Kabiruddin was selected to receive the Barbara Jordan Business Leadership Award, recognizing seniors who have shown great initiative, strong leadership, and outstanding motivation through their activities within the McCombs School.

Khurram Kabiruddin is a BBA senior majoring in Accounting. He was the very first Target Your Future Project Manager. He himself is a Target Your Future grad and returned to be a mentor. He has also been a leader and mentor through being involved in the Leadership Program, FIG, and Business Partners.
Anna Martinez and Sara Saastamoinen were selected to receive the BBA Career Services Award, awarded to the student who has contributed effort, time and achievement toward advancing the mission of BBA Career Services. It is designed to recognize students among the BBA Career Services student workers for their exemplary leadership in service and furthering the career development interests of BBA students.
Anna Martinez is a BBA senior majoring in Finance. She’s been involved in Target Your Future for four semesters. She served as a student mentor for one semester before making the transition to the program manager role last spring. She is also involved with the Hispanic Business Student Association where she’s served as a campus relations chair, and has helped to organize several professional development and community service events.
Sara Saastamoinen is a Junior majoring in Management and is a Plan II Honors student at the University of Texas. Sara has been involved in an array of different activities throughout her time at UT and McCombs. She served as a BBA Career Services Peer Career Advisor in both the fall of 2011 and spring 2012 semesters where she helped undergraduate students with career-related issues, including resume reviews, job applications and offers. Currently, Sara is a Peer Advisor for the Plan II Honors Program Peer Advising team helping to advise freshmen to build a sense of community. Sara has diligently served on the BBA Career Services Undergraduate Career Committee since spring 2011 and is currently serving as the Project Manager for the fall 2013 and spring 2014 Undergraduate Career Expo.
