Where did you intern: Air Liquide Healthcare

How did you go about getting your internship: CAREER FAIR! I participated in career fairs the second semester of my sophomore, and dressed up for interviews almost everyday for a week. It all paid off in the end since I was able to intern for my ideal company.

What classes were the most valuable in getting your job or during your internship: During my internship, I did a lot of key performance indicators, so my accounting class (ACC 311 AND 312) definitely came in handy.

What advice would you give others as they search for an internship? Don’t give up; for every ‘no’ you receive, you’re that much closer to a ‘yes’. And please, go to career fairs, and make use of the resources McCombs has to offer.

How has Career Services helped you? The mock interviews were the most useful, because I received genuine feedback from recruiters from real companies that I was able to utilize when my real interview came about.
