Most of my professional work experience stems from working in Tech (Google and Oracle).

I had always been interested in working for Facebook given the fact that I was an avid user of the platform and strongly interested in the company mission to make the world more open and connected. One day while browsing the Internet I was served with an ad for my current role. I decided to click on the ad to learn more and submit my resume as it piqued my interest. That ended up being one of the better ad experiences I have ever had!

What do you like about working for Facebook?

I like working at Facebook because we are empowered to operate autonomously and solve real-world problems that you cannot search online to find an answer to.

In addition, we are given ample vacation time per year, and everyone is encouraged to use all of that time; furthermore, because our workforce is global, it’s easy to work from remote locations if needed.

Everyday I have the opportunity to help small-to-medium sized businesses optimize their advertising strategy on both Facebook and Instagram to help achieve and exceed business goals.  This job requires me to pay close attention to data and identify insights/trends. Additionally, I get firsthand opportunity to work with influencers within organizations and help shape the success their business experiences on Facebook and Instagram.
